Velocity USA is now making clothes hangers out of scrap rims that did not meet its quality control standards. The clothes hangers are available individually or in four-packs, and are available at wholesale for dealers who want to sell them or use them for displays.
Kansas Byways Program Looking For Input For New Bicycle And Pedestrian Plan

Kansas Byways Program wants bikers and walkers in the state to share their ideas for the program’s new Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. The plan is to enhance bicycling and pedestrian opportunities for each of the state’s 11 scenic and historic byways.
Kent International to open South Carolina bike factory

By the end of the year Kent hopes to make 75,000 bikes in a new South Carolina factory. And by the end of 2016, 500,000 bikes should be rolling off Kent’s assembly line, according to Kent CEO Arnold Kamler. Kent’s $4.3 million investment in the factory is expected to bring 175 jobs to the area.
Rocky Mountain National Park to consider allowing bicycle use on west side trail

RMNP spokeswoman Kyle Patterson said the National Park Service has prepared an environment assessment to analyze the effects of allowing bicycle use on the northern two miles of the trail within the park, looking at two alternatives — continuing as now with pedestrian use only or making minor improvements to the two-mile section to accommodate bikes and other current uses.
