TFK’s programs give underserved youth the opportunity to experience mountain biking while learning life skills and an appreciation of the outdoors. The bikes donated by Raleigh will enable newly formed TFK regional chapters across North America to provide mountain bike outings for low income, at-risk youth in their communities.

Am I Invisible?

Bicycle portrait contest and gallery show, Am I Invisible?, is opening Tuesday, April 8th at the Old Stone House in New York City. The portrait project is meant to “encourage greater awareness of issues of sustainability, health and cultural diversity in the urban space.”

Yellowstone opened for spring bicycle season

Bicyclists can now travel 49 miles of road in Yellowstone National Park that is still closed to traffic. Roads are open from the west entrance at West Yellowstone, Mont., to Mammoth Hot Springs. There is no bicycle access to Old Faithful or Canyon until the first interior park roads open to motorized vehicles April 18.
