In most cases the term parts bike would indicate a wreck not worth saving. In this case I mean a bike that is made up of parts. Parts that have little or nothing to do with each other except their non sequitural assembly.
Often things are said to be greater than the sum of their parts. Not here. These parts all scream for attention. They do not fit into the scheme of the sum. Yet, somehow it works.
On a less bikaphysical note, this is sick and cool. The mixtie frame, road drop handlebars, banana seat and long forks. A poetry of chaos, if not a practical ride.
Surprisingly with just under five days to go nobody has committed to the $60 opening bid. As usual shipping costs put the value out of my range. Of course if this bike were in this area the cyclobitionists would have already driven the price to silly proportions.
