Seattle is a great book town. And also a great biking town. So it should comes as little surprise that Seattle now given us a mobile, people-powered public library that’s wheeled about town by pedaling librarians.
Bicycles steer clear of Obamacare

As part of Obamacare, grants were established to help cities prevent diseases like obesity, including by making communities “safe and easy for people to walk and ride bikes.” But of 85 cities with progressive biking infrastructure, none used public health dollars for the projects, according to a recent survey by the Green Lane Project, which campaigns for public space dedicated to bikes.
BMX Hall of Fame to induct five

The BMX Hall of Fame will induct five members at a ceremony September 28 at the Olympic Training Center. This year’s inductees are in the categories of Pioneer Racer, Racer, Industry, Freestyler and Woman.
