Tejay not only won but won convincingly at just better than a a minute and three quarters. This is his first major stage race win. I’ve been following his career for a while and while he was an up-and-comer it was easy to be a fan but now the doubts start to creep in.
What doubts? Well, not based on any evidence, fact or even suggestion, but I’ve been let down by several of my previous bike racing heroes. It’s hard for me to trust again. It’s sad that these doubts are necessary.
