Whenever you see a bike on eBay described as vintage or antique you always have take a moment to look closely at the pictures. One person’s opinion of what’s vintage may not be yours. This bike however needs little or no scrutiny. You can almost smell the mildew.
It’s a Columbia-Pope from over a hundred years back and it looks to be in fair condition. Other people agree because with three days to go the bidding is up to $225. I’m no expert but imagine that’s only a bout half-way to it’s final price.
Being a bike fixer-upper this is the kind of bike I dream of finding at some garage sale. Dream, delusion, same thing.
