Due to the MUNI shut down of the N-Judah trains I’ve decided to avoid the overcrowded replacement buses and commute by bike all this week. The problem is that the MUNI construction cuts through THE WIGGLE, which is San Francisco’s hill-avoiding bike route.
They’ve been telling us that detours would be in place but I didn’t have much hope. Well, I was proven very wrong. There were plenty of detailed route detour signs and even huge electric signs on Market street directing the bikes to the alternate path.
Thanks to everyone who is involved in the planning and execution of these routes and signs. It made what might have been a confusing journey much easier.
