Bike Thieves Try New Trick

Two men from North Haven, in their early 20s, were riding on the trail near West Read and Gem streets. Two young men were waiting. One of them rolled a bike across the trail. The cyclists stopped. Then the two attackers went after the two North Haven cyclists.

Bike Park Appeal Hearing Set for May 8

Resident complaints prompted the city to cancel a work party last June that would have marked the beginning of construction on the new park, located on two acres of city-owned land within Hartman Park. Residents told Redmond Patch at the time that they objected to the park because it would lead to trees being cut down and bring in children and teenagers from outside the immediate neighborhood.
